reviewsSpecialized Tree Care Services: Expert Pruning, Climbing & Responsible Tree Removal in Nanaimo!
Trees are an important part of every landscape, but caring for them often requires more than routine maintenance. Some trees need corrective pruning, others require specialized climbing services, and certain removals demand a level of precision that conventional equipment cannot provide.
Our tree care services are led by an ISA Certified Arborist, combining professional arboricultural knowledge with a health-first approach to maintaining trees, shrubs, hedges, and gardens.
Specialized pruning for healthier trees and plants
Every tree and plant has different needs. Our pruning services are designed to address those needs thoughtfully, with the goal of supporting plant health, improving structure, and preserving the natural character of your landscape.
Our pruning services include:
- Corrective Pruning
Addressing structural concerns, competing branches, and unwanted growth to help improve the form and development of trees and shrubs. - Selective Pruning
Removing specific branches or growth that requires attention while preserving healthy plant material wherever practical. - Restorative Pruning
Helping neglected, overgrown, or damaged plants regain a healthier, more manageable structure through carefully planned pruning.
We also trim hedges, shrubs, ornamental plants, and garden vegetation, with hand pruning used where practical to achieve precise results.

Tree climbing services up to 80 feet
Some trees cannot be safely or effectively maintained from the ground. Our specialized climbing services allow us to access trees up to 80 feet in height, providing the ability to perform pruning, branch removal, and other tree care work in locations where traditional access is limited.
Climbing can be particularly useful for trees located close to buildings, fences, gardens, or other landscape features. By accessing the tree directly, we can work carefully around surrounding infrastructure and focus on the specific branches or areas that need attention.
All climbing work is assessed for the appropriate equipment, access, and safety requirements before work begins.

Storm Damage Repair
Severe weather can leave trees with broken branches, damaged limbs, or compromised structures. Storm damage can also create concerns for nearby homes, vehicles, gardens, and other property.
Our tree care team can assess storm-damaged trees and determine whether careful pruning, specialized climbing, or removal may be appropriate. Where a tree can be preserved safely, our preference is to retain healthy structure and remove only what is necessary.
When removal is required, we consider the surrounding landscape and the safest way to complete the work.

Specialized tree removal in difficult locations
Not every tree can be removed by simply cutting it down. In many residential and landscaped environments, there may be limited access for heavy equipment, or conventional tree falling may create unacceptable risks to nearby structures and landscaping.
Our specialized removal services are designed for situations where precision matters.
Rather than relying on conventional tree falling, we can use controlled removal techniques to bring sections of a tree down within a small, carefully managed footprint. This allows us to work in confined spaces and reduce the risk of damage to nearby buildings, fences, gardens, and other infrastructure.
This approach can be especially valuable when a tree is located close to a home, over a garden, beside a retaining wall, or in a space where heavy machinery is not practical or preferred.

Preserving your landscape through careful tree care
Our approach to tree care is based on understanding the plant and the surrounding environment before deciding what work is needed.
Whether we’re trimming a hedge, performing corrective pruning on a mature tree, climbing to reach difficult branches, repairing storm damage, or removing a tree in a confined location, our goal is to deliver specialized work with care and precision.
Tree removal is sometimes necessary, but it is not always the first answer. When a healthy tree can be preserved safely, we believe that is worth considering.
Specialized tree care. Professional pruning. Responsible removal.
